This wonderful machaneh is set in the ‘Garden of
England’ – Kent, near the coast. It begins with
a four day ‘tiyul’ where the chanichim
(participants) are split into small kvutsot
(groups) allowing them to get to know each other
whilst participating in exciting outdoor
activities by day and camping in a different
site each night! Back at the main site, the
chanichim will be part of an engaging tochnit
(programme) themed around the birth of the State
of Israel and Zionism. The peulot (activities)
are educational, with an informal approach to
topics such as modern Jewish and Israeli
history. And let’s not forget all the exciting
chuggim (workshops) that Rishonim has to offer –
a variety of creative, sporty, and relaxing
options will be available. There will also be
the opportunity to spend some time on the beach.
There’s never a dull moment... friends, food,
and fun by the sea, what more could anyone ask
for?
In order to avoid disappointment, it is advised
that you send in your application as soon as
possible.
