Shalom Chaverim!
For
years Habonim Dror have been providing Jewish youth
with an opportunity to come on camp and learn about
their Jewish heritage in unique and exciting ways.
Camp is an ideal way for you to spend the summer
holidays providing a fun, informal setting where you
will have the chance to meet new people and make
some of the best friends you will ever have.
We aim to create an inspiring machaneh (camp) and to
run original and educational peulot (activities). We
pride ourselves on making the topics interesting,
relevant, and unique to our chanichinm. Days on camp
are always packed, but there is always free time to
give everyone a breather! By pooling everyone’s
money together into a kupah (kitty) system,
everybody can experience the value of equality and
sharing which helps everyone feel part of Habonim
Dror’s warm and friendly atmosphere.
Each machaneh (camp) is run by highly trained,
passionate leaders who tailor each camp to the
specific age group of the chanichim. Many of our
leaders have participated in our year-long scheme in
Israel as well as hadracha (leadership) seminar,
weekends, and other camps. These provide them with
the knowledge and experience needed to successfully
run Habonim Dror activities.
Please do not let finances be an issue; Habonim Dror
will never turn down an applicant who cannot
genuinely afford the full price of our camps. We
operate a subsidy scheme in the strictest
confidence. Please tick the box on the application
form to receive a subsidy form.
