WHERE?    
Train Station: Brighouse Rail Station

ADDRESS: BRADLEY WOOD CAMPSITE, SHEPHERD'S THORN LANE, BRIGHOUSE, WEST YORKSHIRE, HD6 3TU

 

The site is about 22 miles away from North Manchester (in between Manchester and Leeds) and should take approximately 40 minutes.  Please give yourselves plenty of time.

 

WHEN? 

The seminar runs from THURSDAY 23RD-SUNDAY 26TH JULY.

You must arrive for 3.30PM on the Thursday!!! 

 

GENERAL 

Your Camp Roshim will be contacting you in the next 7 days with details about travel arrangements to the site.  Cars must be pooled (At least 4 people in each car).  Your Roshim will co-ordinate who will pick up who in your tsevet.  On arrival at the site a member of staff will direct you to the Car Park where you must park your car and leave it there for the duration of the seminar.  The seminar is ‘CLOSED’.  This mean you must not leave the site.

 

CAMPING

You will be sleeping in tents therefore sleeping bags are required.  Pillows and groundmats are recommended.  Please bring a spare black bin bag in case of bad weather.

 

FOOD

All meals and snacks will be provided so please do not bring any extra food with you.  We operate a NO NUTS POLICY so this measure is to ensure no nuts are brought onto the camp site.

 

SMOKING

It is not the duty of the Rakazim to constantly go off-site to buy cigarettes for madrichim.  If you choose to smoke you must bring enough cigarettes to last you the duration of the seminar.  Rakazim will not be buying any cigarettes on the seminar.

 

CHULTZAH

All our madrichim should be in the possession of a chultzah (Movement shirt) and MUST bring one.  If you haven’t already got one please see the information at the top of this page for instructions on how to order a new one.
