HD1 & HD2
HD1 and HD2 both did separate walking tours around Jerusalem. Along the way they learnt about Israeli society using Jerusalem as a microcosm of society as a whole. At the same time, they addressed issues such as the poverty gap, religious-secular divide, sephardi-ashkenazi divide, immigrant workers and other important problems within Israeli society.
After their tour, both groups moved to the Ariel Hotel near to the Old City to prepare for Shabbat together. Once ready, the chanichim then walked to the Old City and the group did a Culturally Jewish Kabbalat Shabbat service in front of the
Kotel before returning to their hotel where they enjoyed an Oneg Shabbat together.
