Introduction:
Hello. My name is Marc Fink. I’m 22 years old and have lived in Manchester all my life. I was educated at Manchester Grammar School, then rushed off straight to Nottingham University to study Psychology where I had an awesome time and graduated with a 2:1 in 2007. Last year I took a ‘year off’ and went to Cape Town to work for a charity teaching English in the remote townships of the Cape Flats. It was a truly eye-opening and inspiring experience and one that made me realise just how lucky we are living in this country.
In the Summer of 2008 I was lucky enough to be a tour madrich with HDUK. Nothing prepares you for taking 40 chanichim around Israel for a month but it really was THE most rewarding (and shattering!)thing I have ever done.
I’m really excited to be working for Habonim this year. As the movement faces fresh challenges with the changing nature of a modern British Jewish society, we, as a youth movement, must be seen to be at the forefront of adaptability and resilience. HDUK is currently in a very healthy state and I look forward to carrying on with the good work that has been done by previous movement wokers.

Job Description:
My main job is to support the Camps Organiser with all aspects of the camps. I am responsible for the administration relating to both summer and winter camps, processing the application and medical forms and maintaining the financial records of all the applicants. I maintain the database, keeping it updated with all information relating to the chanichim. I also act as Office Manager for the London Office and will usually be the one answering the phone and dealing with parents’ enquiries.
